Redefining Children’s Music One Tune At A Time
Joyful, fun, story-driven songs that bring kids, parents, and grandparents together — that’s the heart of Kayla Storlid’s music.
Each tune carries a gentle wink of nostalgia, borrowing sounds from different musical eras while staying playful and simple.
These songs are meant to spark giggles and conversations. As families listen, kids are invited to wonder out loud, while parents and grandparents find themselves saying, “Oh my gosh… I remember that.”
Because the magic isn’t just in the music — it’s in the shared moments that follow.
In a crowded children’s music world, Kayla stands out by capturing the real spirit of childhood: big imagination, honest feelings, and the wonderfully silly moments in between. Her songs open the door to a place where curiosity leads, laughter is welcome, and everyday moments turn into little adventures.
Kayla’s mission is simple and heartfelt:
✨ More joy
✨ More connection
✨ More families listening — and remembering — together
One playful song at a time. 🐮💛

Origin Story
I wrote music long before I understood what it meant to be heard.
As a kid, melodies came easily… the spotlight, not so much. Let’s just say my early stage career had a few plot twists and leave it at that. 😅
So I did what many sensitive, big-feeling kids do — I tucked the music somewhere safe and quiet and kept growing up.
Then decades later (because life has a funny sense of timing), the songs came back.
A melody while driving.
Lyrics on a walk with my dog.
A full chorus showing up on a hike.
I’d grab my phone and record whatever magic floated in.
I held those songs close for a long time.
But when I finally started sharing them, something beautiful happened — people leaned in. I began to notice that little sparkle in listeners’ eyes.
That’s when it clicked.
I’m not just writing silly songs.
I’m helping kids imagine…
…and grown-ups remember what it felt like to be little.
I’m here because of the people who believed in the music when I finally got brave enough to share it. And I’m deeply grateful to now offer it back — with a wink, a giggle, and a whole lot of heart. 🐮✨
